The Artisans in Spring Fair

Today has been COLD a true Winters day. Just when our thoughts turn to Spring...........

The Artisan's Spring Fair is to be held on Sunday 18th March 2012 at The Woodford Village Hall, Salisbury, Wiiltshire, SP4 6NG from 11-4pm.

When arranging the date of the Spring Fair we hadn't realised that it was Mothering Sunday but on reflection........ what better an excuse to have a browse of lovely things & tea party, with delicious cakes, with family, friends or new folks to meet.
We have all been busy making, baking & squiraling away our precious lovelies for all to enjoy.
The Artisan friends gathered together include:

Sky Blue's knitting which is very creative

John Gustard with his lovely collection of art http://www.johngustard.com/ We are hoping he will be able to run some more workshops with The Artisans in the forthcoming months

Kiss the Book, Jane the English Booklady with her lovely books & kitchenalia etc.

Camelia with interesting textiles, handmade lovelies, vintage items, & for the Spring fair, gardenalia

George Trebinski with wonderful pictures of wildlife. I am biased because I adore his deer pictures. The images can be seen on his website http://www.imagesbytrebinski.co.uk/

Caroline with her handmade jewels, using semi-precious stones

Tanya Wadey with handmade rabbits, hair slides & many more

Imogen with lovely Limited Edition Lino-cut prints produced entirely by hand. Greetings cards of all her designs are also available

Joining us for the first time is Elaine Mairis who has shabby chic, pretty antique & vintage items (furniture, fabric & ornaments) for interior decor

John & Sue's delicious cakes & teas, available all day

If you are out for lunch.......... or in need of inspiration you will be made most welcome. Heale Garden, Avon Cottage garden (NGS) both in the valley are open. The Bridge & Wheatsheaf are open for lunch (you might need to book beforehand).

Together we look forward to welcoming you to the first taste of spring at the Village Hall, Middle Woodford, Wiltshire, SP4 6NG
